Craft Loft’s offering is shaped by thoughtfulness, observation of customer needs and relentless testing. Our top differentiators include:
Many adults want to be creative and craft, yet there are few places with the right level of staff and environment to help them. All too often, we see crafting or art places focused on kids and kids birthday parties. Craft Loft provides an elevated experience for adults while providing a welcoming atmosphere that is inclusive of families.
Our multi-craftual offering makes it easier for customers to return to us again and again to try new things. We are unique in our ability to help groups of people craft together while each person is making something different. In contrast, typical creative brands are single-craft entities, such as only paint-and-sip, only ceramics painting, etc. These businesses tend to have a ‘leaky bucket’ syndrome where they have to keep marketing spend high in order to acquire a steady stream of new ‘one-off’ customers which make business growth much more challenging.
Our process driven approach helps customers of all skill levels to create a project that they’re proud to use and display.
We offer branded supplies and kits for sale in the store to help customers create on their own time. Our designs are easy to use, fresh and appeal to the adult crafter.
Our walk-in studio offers instant creative gratification and helps those crafters whose schedule might not align with workshops and want to craft on their own timeframe.
Given Craft Loft’s founder’s background in the tech industry, the use of technology for efficiency and ease of operation was baked into the business from Day 1.
With 4.8/5 stars on 100+ of reviews on Google, our projects speak for themselves in customers’ lives and they gush about what they made themselves (with our help). We have seen this word of mouth time again drive traffic to our store. In addition, our strong SEO game puts us on page 1 of search engine results when customers start their journey in crafting.

Craft Loft’s business model provides multiple entry points for customer acquisition and revenue streams that form a flywheel that builds on itself, all the while offering an exciting lifestyle to the franchisee. Our stores offer a blend of:
Customers find us through web searches, passing by, finding a workshop or simply attending a private event hosted by Craft Loft. Each of these experiences lead to discovery of other service offerings. For example, someone who stopped by in search of a birthday gift will notice our calendar of workshops and may find a fun option for their upcoming team building event. This customer might book a workshop for a date night activity as well as recommend us to their team admin. When their team comes in for the private team building event, others on the team will discover the store and book additional workshops or purchase merchandise.
“To Inspire Well-being and Togetherness by Making It Easier for People to Discover, Learn and Practice Crafting”
Craft Loft strives to be as welcoming and supportive as possible and make our craft processes and products as effective as possible to help our customer achieve a sense of confidence and success in making projects.
As such, our team members are all ‘people’ people who are not only skilled at creating, but also at sharing that knowledge. We understand the mental health and wellness benefits afforded by making things with our hands and take the responsibility as a crafting guide seriously. Nothing brings us more joy than to hear someone exclaim ‘That came out a lot better than I expected!’ or ‘I will be back for more!’
Internally, our team culture is supportive, collaborative and curious. Just as we help our customers learn new crafts and skills, we do the same for our team members. Craft Loft provides comprehensive training to all franchisee partners and content for those partners to train their staff members.
Everyone works closely together to keep the store clean, bright, visually appealing and safe for our customers. We use technology to keep internal communication frequent and effective.
We value curiosity because it is what allows us to be hyper-observant of customers’ needs, our own team’s needs, market trends and new supplies or tools. We want to know what customers love about us and be on the look out for what they still need. We want to learn about what made a project come out just a bit better than another one and make adjustments for next time. We want to know what makes a staff member have a great day at work vs. a tough day.
We believe that happy staff means happy customers. These practices set us apart from traditional retail environments and make it easy for Craft Loft to hire great team members and retain them.

We did the resin trays and they all came out amazing! Would definitely recommend! Maria Halovanic2025-08-02Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Kira Goldner2025-08-01Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I took beginner sewing (PJ shorts) with Jen. The class was super informative and a good way to learn basics about sewing. However, I have a few suggestions as to how these classes could be better. First, we used concepts we were taught, but they weren't exactly defined -- I wish we would have learned things like "a seam allowance is..." and "a pattern is..." instead of just working with them and having to infer. Second, I've been reading about sewing, and there seems to be a ton of important concepts to learn. It would be really nice if the classes were clearer about which they covered. For instance, we learned to use the sewing machine, but not how to set it up -- we didn't learn to thread it, or what the different stitches are and when to use them. We didn't learn anything about measuring, marking, ironing, etc. We did some pinning but I wish the instructions had been more precise because I don't feel like I totally understood what was going on. I can imagine a master list of skills to learn for sewing with a guide of which class covers which skills, and I think that would be really helpful. Amy Slater2025-07-07Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Took our team of 15 to Craft Loft for an activity during our summer offsite. It was great! A fun and relaxing thing to do together during a long week of work. The space is really inviting and the team teaching us were very lovely and helped the non-artistic folks make masterpieces they were proud of.Google rating score: 4.8 of 5, based on 114 reviews
